SCRANTON, Pa. — One person was taken away in an ambulance after a crash in Lackawanna County.

Police responded to the 1100 block of Swetland Street in Scranton after an SUV ran off the road around 1 a.m. Sunday.

The vehicle struck two parked cars before slamming into the front steps of a home.

No word on the status of the person taken in an ambulance.

Police have not yet said what caused the crash.
